Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a refund on Pet a Day and how to request one. It applies alongside our Terms of Service. All payments on Pet a Day are processed by Stripe; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

1. Creator subscriptions

Creator subscriptions are recurring charges that renew automatically at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops all future billing and keeps your access active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Because you retain full access for the remainder of a paid period after cancelling, partial-period refunds are generally not provided. We may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund where a creator's content has been removed, where the subscription was charged in error, or where required by law. Duplicate or clearly accidental charges are refunded in full.

2. Stock marketplace asset licenses

Stock content licenses are digital goods delivered instantly. Once a licensed asset has been downloaded, the sale is final and the license fee is non-refundable, because the digital file cannot be returned.

If you have purchased a license but have not yet downloaded the asset, you may request a refund within fourteen days of purchase. We will also refund a downloaded asset if the file is corrupt, materially different from its preview, or was charged in error. Refund requests citing a defect should include a description of the problem so we can investigate.

3. Stock subscriptions

Stock subscriptions provide a recurring allowance of asset downloads or credits. Like creator subscriptions, they renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future billing and preserves access until the end of the current period. Unused downloads or credits do not carry a cash value and are not refundable. Once an asset has been downloaded under a subscription, that download is final. Charges made in error or duplicate charges are refunded in full.

4. Pet-business SaaS plans

Pet a Day offers business plans for pet-business owners:

  • Starter — free; no charge and therefore nothing to refund.
  • Pro — $99 per month (or the discounted annual equivalent).
  • Premium — $199 per month (or the discounted annual equivalent).
  • Boost — a $29 add-on that increases the visibility of your listing.

Paid business plans renew automatically. You may cancel from your business dashboard at any time; cancellation stops future billing and your plan features remain active until the end of the current billing period. Monthly plan fees are not pro-rated on cancellation. For annual plans, you may request a pro-rated refund of the unused full months within thirty days of the annual charge. The Boost add-on is non-refundable once the boosted placement has gone live. Charges made in error are refunded in full.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us through our contact page and include the email address on your account, the approximate date of the charge, the item or plan involved, and the reason for your request. We review refund requests within a reasonable time and will let you know the outcome by email.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues are resolved faster directly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending review, and access to subscriptions or licensed content tied to the disputed charge being revoked. We cooperate with Stripe and card networks on the investigation of disputed and fraudulent charges.

7. Processing timeframes

Once a refund is approved, we issue it through Stripe promptly. The funds typically appear on your original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not control how quickly your financial institution posts the credit.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the site. The refund terms in effect at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.
