Pet a Day was founded in 2024 by a team of pet owners who found themselves using five different tools just to manage life with their animals — one app to find groomers, another to book vets, a third to follow pet creators, and so on. We built Pet a Day to bring it all into one place: a platform where local pet professionals, content creators, and everyday pet owners can connect without switching apps.
We launched with a business directory of 10,030 local pet professionals across 236 cities, a subscription platform for pet content creators who earn 75% of every dollar their fans spend, and a stock marketplace where brands and agencies license pet imagery for commercial use. Everything is built to be transparent, fair, and genuinely useful — not feature-bloated or ad-maximized.
